Much has been written since Steve Jobs announced he was stepping down as Apple's CEO. Being the social media person on my team, I have read many of these articles. All have similar themes: work hard, play hard, be creative, live your dreams, don't give up hope. One of my favorite articles was from the Wall Street Journal that reprinted Jobs' commencement address at Stanford in 2005. I wanted to share with you the thought that touched me the most.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. --Steve Jobs
